Perched
sixty feet above the ground on a scaffold, we want our tradespeople
to be able to concentrate on the tasks before them – in order to
do that they have to be safe. We make jobsite safety an integral
part of managing a project by incorporating essential safety elements
into the work.
The keys to
a successful safety program are:
 |
Genuine
concern for worker safety |
 |
Education
through extensive training programs. |
 |
Awareness
|
 |
Planning
|
 |
Clear
communications |
 |
Implementation |
In
addition, “pretask” meetings are held on every project. Together
Cooper Crane & Rigging, Inc. management, field management, and
subcontractors develop a safety plan; once it is implemented our
team monitors the plan to ensure it is followed.
Running a safe jobsite is essential to the success of a project
and in turn, our own success. First and foremost, we care about
our people and second, it’s smart business. A safe site means a
well-organized project that stays on schedule and an environment
where high quality standards can be met.
